The Alerta MoveAssist 200 is a transfer assist unit which makes transfer functions of all types quick and easy, requiring minimal caregiver assistance. The Alerta MoveAssist promotes user engagement and enhances mobility. Each unit is equipped with a crossbar which users can grasp and pull themself up into a standing position using their own strength. The padded split seats swing out allowing the user to stand up and board the unit. The caregiver then flips the split seats back into place to form a secure and comfortable seat for the user to sit on for the remainder of the transfer. A user who qualifies to use the Alerta MoveAssist must have enough leg and lower body strength to stand up and remain in the standing/sitting position. Adequate arm strength is required if the user must use the crossbar. Users who satisfy these criteria and have difficulty walking or present a potential for falling down will find the Alerta MoveAssist a useful and safe transfer device. For users who lack these requirements, a stand aid hoist is recommended.

The Alerta SensaGel Heel Slope Mattress is a very high risk profiling memory foam mattress built with a high density base, memory foam top, and a sloping heel section with gel memory foam. Heel slope: assists pressure redistribution by alleviating pressure from the high risk heel area. SensaGel® heel section: gel-infused memory foam to prevent pressure sores on the heel. The mattress is designed with a section of v-cut base foam which creates additional air movement for enhanced pressure relieving properties, providing effective comfort, care and pressure redistribution for users in hospital, nursing and care home environments. To launder the cover in a washing machine, set the main wash to 65oC for no less than 10 minutes or 95oC for no less than 3 minutes. The cover can be tumble dried on low heat and the temperature must not exceed 60oC. The foam can be autoclaved at 134oC.

This Airflow Breathable Arm Sling is adjustable and constructed from breathable fabric for maximum comfort and control. It can be used for right or left arm/shoulder injuries and works by helping immobilize the shoulder and collar bone joints to aid a comfortable healing position to allow joint and soft tissue recovery. Useful in rehabilitation, it helps reduce stress around the arm/shoulder complex and helps encourage correct alignment of the joint for healing by stabilizing the forearm against the body. The Rotastand SOLO revolutionises sit to stand and pivot transfers. The patented T Bar mechanism in the base (see picture) allows a sit to stand and pivot transfer to be carried out by a single nurse or carer thus reducing the time it takes to carry out the task as well as halving the cost of having two carers/nurses present during the transfer. The nurse/carer does not need to counterbalance the Rota Stand Solo as the client pulls themselves to a standing position.
