Terms and Conditions for Oakley Healthcare

VAT (Value Added Tax) is payable on all invoiced prices (where applicable) at the appropriate rate ruling at the tax point. If you do not qualify for VAT exemption or the product is not zero rated, we have to add 20% to the total amount due. You, the Buyer (person’s buying the goods) are liable for any local country taxes/ duties should these arise, and information given on any forms we supply. VAT EXEMPTION

By completing the VAT Relief Exempt Form you agree to the following:

You are a registered charity, are chronically sick or disabled or the products are being purchased on behalf of an individual who is chronically sick or disabled.
The products being supplied by Oakey Healthcare & Mobility are for personal or domestic use.

You claim that the supply of the product is eligible for relief from VAT under the VAT Act 1994.

PLEASE NOTE: There are penalties for making a false declaration which could result in the purchaser paying the difference in VAT.

Returns

 Special order, spare parts and “prescriptive” products such as wheelchairs, made to measure products or products with optional extras built in cannot be returned unless faulty.

 Self-assembly products cannot be returned if assembly is part or fully completed unless the item is faulty. (this includes scooters and powerchairs purchased in-store)

 Extra Wide Bariatric products special orders or made to measure can only be retuned if faulty.

 Products which are made to meet your order are strictly non- cancellable, non-returnable and non-refundable. In the event of a defect your statutory rights are not affected, when the item may need to be returned for replacement or repair only.

 End of Line, Clearance products, Ex Demos any product sold on Auction Sites cannot be returned unless the item is faulty.

AMENDMENTS OF CANCELLATION OF ORDER

Please note that where goods are personalised, customised, special order or made to order, you (buyer) have a right to cancel the order only until we or our supplier begin work on the order. Since work may begin immediately, it is important that you are happy with the details of your order at the outset. These products can only be returned if found to be faulty.

Orders cannot be cancelled or amended except with Oakley Healthcare consent and on terms which will indemnify Oakley Healthcare against loss and expenses incurred.

WARRANTY POLICY

New items are supplied under manufacturer’s warranty. Subject to the terms of the warranty, the goods are covered by guarantee for a period of twelve months from the date of purchase. This cover does not affect and is in addition to your statutory rights. Second hand or reconditioned items are supplied with no warranty unless otherwise stated in writing on this form. This is to be agreed with a member of our staff at the time of purchase.

OWNERSHIP OF GOODS

Ownership of the goods shall not pass to you until the Supplier (Oakley Healthcare) has received in full (in cash or cleared funds) all sums due to it in respect of the goods, and all other sums which are or which become due to the Supplier from you on any account. Oakley Healthcare (The Supplier) shall be entitled to recover payment for the goods not withstanding that ownership of any of the goods has not passed from the Supplier.

Oakley Healthcare reserves the right to take legal action against claimants who fail to return the free products on cancellation of their contract to purchase.
If we waive any rights available to us under these terms and conditions on one occasion, this does not mean that those rights will automatically be waived on any other occasion

PRIVACY POLICY

We do not sell, trade, or rent users personal identification information to others.

We may use the information you provide when placing an order to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.

We may use the information you provide to send user information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests.
We may use the information you provide to send periodic mailings.

VAT

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase please inform us within 7 working days of receipt and return the goods to us within 30 days. We do not pay for the return of goods unless faulty or not as ordered.

We charge a restocking fee of 50% of the invoice total for the return of made to order bespoke goods unless the product is faulty.

Goods MUST be returned in the condition they were sold including any packaging provided and unused.

Goods have to be returned in their original boxes and packaging, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Until you the buyer return the products to us they are your responsible for taking care of them, we cannot accept returns in poor damaged condition. Lost goods in transit cannot be refunded by Oakley Healthcare.

We reserve the right to charge for labour or subsequent loss to Oakley Healthcare for repair, replacement or repackaging of any products not returned in their original condition.

If you do not return the products complete (parts missing, damaged or used) we may take steps to recover them from you and to recover our costs of doing so by deducting those costs from the refund of the price or return the product to you.

NON- RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

 For reasons of hygiene and cross infection, our returns policy does not extend to the following products: chairs, beds, mattresses, toppers and pillows, incontinence products, all hygiene products such as urinals, commodes and bed pans, compression stockings/tights, bathlifts or similar items cannot be returned,
