Adequate arm strength is required if the user must use the crossbar. The  Rotate-Stand-Up Bed is a powered rotation bed to support users with unassisted transfers between lying in bed and standing, providing enhanced freedom, safety and care for the user. The user can independently control the bed with the handset to transition from lying in bed to the seated position, and then rotating and standing up from the bed. The hand rails provide additional safety and assurance for the user when rotating and transferring in or out of the bed. The Alerta Sensaflex 3000 is a high risk profiling memory foam mattress. The sophisticated mattress design provides effective comfort, care and pressure redistribution for users in hospital, nursing and care home environments. To launder the cover in a washing machine, set the main wash to 65oC for no less than 10 minutes or 95oC for no less than 3 minutes. The cover can be tumble dried on low heat and the temperature must not exceed 60oC. The foam can be autoclaved at 134oC. A bariatric 120cm wide version is available - code: ALT-3000/4.
