They are manufactured from a very strong highly durable quality fabric which creates an extremely low friction surface providing superior sliding performance during patient repositioning and transfers whilst protecting against skin sheer. Alerta Slide Sheets are not intended for use to lift patients. The Alerta Evacuation Sheet fixes permanently to the underside of a flexible foam mattress by means of strong elastics. It has safety belts to hold the user on the mattress and pulling straps at each end. The combination of slippery sheet and flexible mattress will allow controlled and easy access through doorways and down stairs. 2 person evacuation.
