The lack of movement and subsequent restrictions mean that these people are at an increased risk of developing pressure sores or other complaints associated with periods of immobility. The Visco Gel cushion is the ultimate pressure relieving cushion in the Harley range. Its multiple foam construction makes it the optimal choice for anyone who spends significant periods of time sat either in a chair, on a scooter or in a wheelchair. The polyurethane base offers stability and support, and the visco elastic memory foam upper layer offers comfort, pressure relief and protection. Sandwiched between these layers towards the rear of the cushion is a gel insert that adds further pressure relief and comfort.

The Alerta Sensaflex 300 is a very high risk memory foam cushion with a high density base, foam centre and a castellated gel memory foam top. The cushion provides effective comfort, care and pressure redistribution for users in hospital, nursing and care home environments. To launder the cover in a washing machine, set the main wash to 65oC for no less than 10 minutes or 95 C for no less than 3 minutes. The cover can be tumble dried on low heat and the temperature must not exceed 60oC. The foam can be autoclaved at 134 C. 17x217x4"
